New Quilt from Titi Jessica

4 1/2 Months

Zoe is now 4 1/2 months old. I can't believe how big she's grown. Her current weight is 16 lbs (100% nursing). She's very alert now and loves to follow people and objects around the room. We've seen her roll over one way a few times now.

Also able to:
-raise her body on her arms
-sit up straight with support
-giggles when tickled
-grasps rattle and shakes it
-interested in colorful objects
-bears weight on legs when held upright
-loves to be held by daddy & grammy
-kicks her socks off
-sucks on her fingers

Jamaica Pond

We had a great Sabbath afternoon walk around Jamaica Pond. This past weekend we met Melissa's husbands (Phil) family from Maryland (mom, dad, and 2 sisters). We went out to eat on Friday and hung out all day on Saturday. Jessica and Michael drove up from Virginia to be here too.

Sunset at the beach..

We loved our last outing to the beach so much, we decided to watch the sunset three days later. We stopped to pose for a quick picture. Then Mia continued to run around digging in the sand using her bare hands. It got a little messy! I couldn't help but post the next picture. Junior and Mia look so cute together in this picture..

Nantasket Beach

No longer fearful of the sand and water, Mia now enjoys playing at the beach. She ran around playing with her beach buddies Molly and Jimmy and helped Nilsa and Junior build/destroy sand castles.

A day at Nantasket Beach

This was our first time at the beach this year. Zoe's first time! Not too unbearable under the sun. The temperature was perfect for jumping into the water. Mia wasn't afraid of the sand this time around or the water for that matter. She also made two new friends right away. We had a blast!

This is (cousin Nilsa) and Mia having a few laughs. Mia can't get enough of her. Nilsa's visiting from Philly for the summer with her brother and sister, (Junior & Evelys).

These are some of the more recent pictures of Zoe during her bath. I would've posted some sooner but Zoe really hated baths. She is now learning to relax and enjoy the water. She loves to splash it with her feet.

Mia climbs into the bassinet and pretends she's a baby......goo goo gaa gaa. She want's to be everywhere Zoe goes.
